Windows 7 is -the- most popular operating system on Earth. Some games actually make their software just for this operating system. It's updated about once every week. And you can play old and new games on it. It's set up so it's easy to find the games on your PC, and automatically updates your games for you.

Linux is popular among computer modifiers and server administrators. The SuperGamer is made specifically for gaming with great graphics resolution and rendering, and great stability compared to Windows and the OS X. Unfortunately, most games need to be modified in order to be played on this operating system. However, it is still possible for gamers with this operating system to play Windows-specific games. The gamer merely needs to install a Windows emulator.

Windows 8 is brand new. It had a bad rep at first, but it has a lot of supporters. It's very fast and stable. All new software works on it. Games work great but are a little slow. It uses fewer resources than Windows 7. The new Start screen also makes it even easier for gamers to sort and organize their favorite games together.

Ubuntu is one of the most popular versions of Linux. It's easy to use, especially for consumers used to Windows or OS X. You'll need a Windows emulator to run Windows programs, too. Luckily, many versions of Ubuntu come with this.
