Eminem is certainly a superstar in his own right. From the beginning, he was often made fun of for being a white rapper, but he has forged a name for himself in the rap industry. He has worked with dozens of artists and released countless albums in his own name. He also has his own movie, entitled 8 Mile. Some of his early music is featured throughout the movie. The original Slim Shady certainly deserves the name of one of the greatest rappers of all time.

Riding on the tail-flames of Eminem's success if Macklemore. He is often touted as one of the greatest up and coming rap stars of all time. With complex rhymes and lyrics about struggling to enter the music industry, Macklemore's the greatest hit in the here and now. One of his greatest achievements: his single with Ryan Lewis, called "Thrift Shop," was only the second single to hit number one on Billboard's Top 100 without the backing of a major record label.

Back in the day, Run DMC taught us to walk this way. Their collaboration with Aerosmith on the hit single changed the way we think of music. It was instrumental for both rock and rap. They really are legends walking amongst us.
